Every company, division, department, process and individual has risk associated with them. Some is high-level business challenges or opportunities, some is very specific cost items, like material loss or product defects. HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT TO WORK ON? HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT NOT TO?
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a universal tool to assist with the issue of “rank and filling” risks against each other to drive appropriate resolutions activity. This session is designed for participants to understand the basics and to be able to move forward with:
- Defining risk statements appropriately
- Determine risk results
- Scoring risk based on severity, chance of occurrence and likelihood of it happening
- Putting this methodology into practice
- Avoiding pitfall in getting started
Attendees will do a hands-on exercise.

Company representatives in lower to middle management who are not familiar but interested in a seamless risk management model transferable for:
- Specific process failures
- Product functionality or designs
- Safety concern areas
- General system integrity issue
