Paula Heiret, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, CQA
Most recently the Director of Operational Excellence – Florida and Nicaragua for Command Medical Products, Inc. (CMP) based in Ormond Beach, FL. In this role, Paula was responsible for production execution, inventory control and management, logistics, purchasing, planning and company wide operational excellence. Prior to this position, Paula was the Continuous Improvement Manager responsible for initiating and contributing to all continuous improvement activities consistent with Lean and Six Sigma. Paula has recently accepted the position of Director of Operational Excellence for CMP where her sole focus will be driving company wide operational excellence for both the Florida and Nicaragua facilities. Paula is a professional facilitator, trainer and leader in Lean concepts and methodologies and holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and is a certified ASQ CQA.
Paula has experience in workforce development, organizational development for 1400 employees, customer focused teams, supplier management systems and streamlining manufacturing processes resulting in cost, labor, inventory and work-in-process reductions.
Before joining Command Medical Products in 2011, Paula worked for the Florida Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Florida MEP) as a Project Manager responsible for helping various manufacturers transform their business from a traditional operation to a world class organization using lean techniques. Prior to Florida MEP, Paula spent 12 years in electronics manufacturing for commercial and defense aerospace applications where she held highly responsible positions in Operations including Production Planning, Operations Management, Operational Excellence and Supply Chain.
Paula Heiret holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
